Visual Illusions

Above is a square illusion that I thought was very good. It was hard to choose just one illusion as there are so many that I thought were very good as well. It gives us an insight on how our minds trick us.

Below is a short clip of explaining visual illusions that is very useful to hear and see about the "Ames Room Illusion".

Stanfords Prison Experiment

Stanford's Prison Experiment- Part 1

Stanford's Prison Experiment was about prisoners and guards who were aloud to interact any way they wanted. The experiment was planned to last 14 days, after 6 days it had to be stopped as the experiment was getting out of hand. The prisoners were becoming extremely stressed and depressed, while the guards became abusive and controlling. I thought it was a really interesting experiment that everybody should see.

Magic Card Trick

Magic Card Trick

I had to put this magic card trick up from our Perception lab as I think it is brilliant how they trick us like that. I payed so much attention to what the man was doing with his cards that I paid no attention to what was going on in the surroundings.

Dyslexia

I think this video is a great insight to what people with Dyslexia go through on a day to day basis. After watching this clip I asked my friend who has Dyslexia is that what she sees, and she agreed. I never would have realised it was that confusing and difficult.
